“9 infografiche sulla calcografia” è il mio progetto di tesi realizzato all’interno del percorso di studi specialistico dell’Accademia delle Belle Arti di Urbino, con la supervisione dell’incisore e professore Giovanni Turria.
La realizzazione di questa infografica vuole essere di supporto al primo approccio nel mondo dell’incisione calcografica.
Uno studio che riguarda tutte le sfaccettature di una tecnica antica e complessa, che necessita di essere tramandate in modo diretto, di facile comprensione e immediata fruizione.
Quando mi sono affacciata a questo mondo per la prima volta ho riscoperto un’antica tecnica che ha fatto parte della nostra tradizione culturale del passato e che ancora resiste nel tempo.
Tale progetto vuole essere dunque una schematizzazione delle conoscenze acquisite in due anni di studi nell’ambito della grafica d’arte.

“9 infografiche sulla calcografia” is the thesis project of my master degree on the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino, realized with the supervision of the engraver and professor Giovanni Turria.The aim of this infographic is to want to be a support for the first approach to the engraving world.
A study that concerns all the facets of this ancient and complex technique, which needs to be handed down in a direct way, easy to understand and immediate to use.
When I entered for the first time on this world, I rediscovered an ancient technique which has been part of our cultural tradition of the past and which still stands the test of time.
This project therefore wants to be a schematization of the knowledge acquired in two years of studies in the field of art graphics.

Cofanetto da esposizione contenente le 9 tavole 50×70 sulla calcografia. Formato cofanetto: 26x19x5 cm.
Il cofanetto ha la funzione sia espositiva, che di contenitore utile al trasporto delle tavole.
Ogni tavola ha il suo tema specifico. I temi trattati sono: la preparazione della lastra, l’incisione diretta, l’incisione indiretta, la morsura, le carte, l’inchiostrazione, l’applicazione del fondino e la stampa.
The exhibition box containing the 9 plates 50×70 on the engraving. Box format: 26x19x5 cm.
The box has the exhibition and a container function, useful for transporting the tables.
Each table has its own specific theme. The subjects are: the preparation of the plate, the direct engraving, the indirect engraving, the etching, the papers, the inking, the application of the base and the printing.
